Weakness of westjet to be faced

The main weakness of Westjet is that it mostly provides short distance flights.it does not provide its great services to customers internationally which helps other Airlines to compete.As they are planning to expand its business internationally ,the cheap prices of tickets will be their main problem in making revenue. Their first class seating is not comfortable according to the feedback of customers which is the main cause of problem that airline faces.The main service in airline a customer prefer is food which airline is failing to provide as it is a new organisation it provides only some snacks.As the new technology in the airline is being launched ,it has two  group of staff which is expensive for the industry. Westjet is planning to compete with the biggest airline Porter and American airline which is very difficult to do so.There is a main problem of price rise of fuel which every industry face but very difficult for the newly airline with  advanced technology Westjet.As it is an airline industry it has tough competition as compared to other modes of transport like trains,buses and cars.Westjet is a newly organisation,it is not very strong financially as compared to Air-Canada.it will take some time for westjet to compete internationally with other airlines of the world.
