Few information about WestJet

WestJet fly to 89 destinations in 20 countries throughout North and Central America, the Caribbean, and in Europe. WestJet's largest and main hub is Toronto Pearson International Airport, the airline's main airport in eastern Canada.


WestJet is most considered as domestic airline offering non-stop routes. Since 2008, WestJet is considered as the largest international carrier in the volume of passengers.it has some seasonal flights. In August 2006, during a interview in Globe AND Mail, WestJet CEO Sean Durfy stated, if a deal of WestJet with Oneworld will be finalised, it would allow WestJet to maintain its scheduling flexibility.but later in 2007 Durfy quoted saying that a deal for WestJet to join the Oneworld alliance was unlikely, Later WestJet finalised a deal with Oneworld in November 2008, with the partnership to sell travel to corporate and business travelers. In 2005, WestJet introduced a new In flight entertainment which includes Bell TV satellite network and channels such as Global TV, CTV, CBS, etc. Westjet has a WI-FI network for people on board and become the first Airline to provide such service. WestJet's aircraft are painted with white colour and its tail with navy blue, white and teal.. In 2013 a little change was done to the tail of the airplane with the parternship of famous Disney, which referred it as” Magic plane”.
